You have a better chance talking with a live person with the DMV or unemployment.
Awful experience and a very slow refund process.
Newer rockport products have a much lower quality standard than the old ones, which in the long run will mean you will have problems with them sooner than expected.

If I could give zero stars i would. I bought a pair of " non-slip" shoes and the first day I wore them to work I nearly fell on my ass! I wore them a couple of days just to be sure and were slipping and sliding all over the place. When I wear my sketchers which cost me half the price I never once had a problem slipping or sliding at work at all. I called customer service who were very nice in the beginning and they sent me a prepaid shipping label to send them back to be evaluated. I was told as soon as they get them they will call or email me their findings and send me out a new pair of shoes upon that conclusion. Its been 3 weeks and I have heard nothing! I've called them 10 times and have been told 10 times that a supervisor would call me the next day. That never happened. So as of now I have been wearing my old torn up sketchers and I am out $150. Rockport has my shoes and my money and they dont have the decency to let me know whats going on. I know they recieved my shoes because i checked to tracking number which says they received them the day after they were shipped. Not a very good way to do business. To totally ignore me is not right!
First time buying from Rockport online, found a pair of brown loafers I liked and felt like the price was good. When they arrived they had wear scuffs and a scratch on one of the shoes. I thought things happen, no big deal so I sent pictures to their customer service team to see what could be done. After several days and me following up again with an email, I get a response that a credit of $10 is all that can be offered since my shoes are out of stock. I called customer service today to ask if there is more of a credit that can be given to save me the hassle of returning, but no I was told that was the best they could do and I should just return the shoes. So now I get to waste a lunch break driving 30 minutes round trip to a UPS and wait 3-4 weeks for a refund. First time and last time ordering from Rockport
I saw my first Rockport shoes in a thrift store.
I was looking for a nice pair of stylish winter boots made from leather. I found the perfect pair in the store that caught my eye. They had wear in all the right places, and by that I mean purely cosmetic wear. The integrity of the boots themselves was completely intact, *despite* that wear. That's what caught my eye.
So I put these shoes on, but they were too big! But they were such an attractive pair of boots that I had to have them!
So I noted the brand and ordered them online. The pair I got was, not only the wrong color, not even just the wrong size, but it was two different boots in the same box! Neither of which were the style I ordered. I guess everybody has a rough day at work, and I seemed to have been the unwitting victim of some very disgruntled worker. Or maybe there was an honest mix up somewhere.
Either way, for some reason, I was undeterred. I had to have these boots! (I know this sounds silly)
I absolutely loved the style of them. They were well crafted, what more can I say? So I gave them a second chance. They didn't have my size, but that worked out great, because it was a size too big and I could fit my winter socks into them.
It was that pair of boots that lasted me three winters and counting and that pair of boots that people ask me what brand they are. People appreciate craftsmanship. That's what caught my eye in that thrift store.
I guess I'm a diehard fan. I love what you guys do!
i bought a pair of rockports on april 14, returned them because they were too narrow. i never got my refund. they acknowledge return and say they will credit in two days. Lies. never never never deal with these people!
follow up..after threats to call BetterBusinessBureau, i finally got full refund. again, avoid this company.
My husband loves rockport & is very loyal to hi
I have rockport dress shoes and I LOVE them.... but
recently I bought a pair of Rockport "hydro-shield" waterproof boots from Nordstrom Rack. Not even 4 days have passed and the "waterproof" is no more.
I walked out with them twice (mind you I was walking on Chicago sidewalks in February 2021 - there was snow, but sidewalks were super clean) and the tip of my boot (around my toes) started getting wet.
If I stood in the snow for 30 min, OK, I would understand. But there was literally a pinch of show on the boots!! The water got absorbed right away!
To top it all off, I sprayed them with Waterproofer spray. And they STILL leaked...
Rockport is the true definition of business-casual footwear, combining both good looks and comfort into their products.
Amazing customer service!
I had a pair of Rockports that I had bought from a show store years ago but had never used. I used them for a few days, and the Rockport medalion came off. Not only did it look bad, but I was concerned that the waterproof shoes would no longer ge waterproof. I contacted customer service online, They responded and I send them photos. They immdediately allowed me to choose a replacement at no cost.
Worst customer service EVER! I bought two pairs of shoes for my Dad for Father's Day, 2020. One pair (tennis shoes) fit and he kept them. The other pair (loafers) needed to be sized up, so I ordered a new pair and sent the first pair back. The larger pair of loafers didn't work either, so we sent that one back as well. I had *relatively* no problem getting a refund for the second, larger pair of loafers, however, it took over 5 months, and the involvement of my credit card company, to get a refund for the original pair that I sent back! I spent literally hours and hours trying to reach them on the phone, sometimes waiting as long as 34 minutes for someone to pick up the call, and I sent at least a dozen emails to the company, including one of the managers, along with UPS documentation, showing that while they had received the original pair of shoes, they hadn't ever issued me a refund for them. They actually acknowledged on the phone on two separate occasions that they had received the original pair, and that they still owed me the money. On my last call with them, the representative said the delay (at that point, over two months) was ridiculous and that he was going to issue the refund "right then, while I was on the phone with him," however, I never got the credit! When I tried to contact them again by email (around Labor Day), I told them that if I didn't hear from them by a certain date, I was going to contact my credit card company and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. At that point, I got my credit card company involved and sent them the extensive documentation. It took until mid-November, but the credit card company finally came back and said that the matter was resolved in my favor and I received my refund. I spent probably a dozen hours of my time over a five-month period trying to get a refund for less than 100.00. I never got so much as an apology from the company. For awhile, I actually contemplated whether they were running some sort of retail Ponzi scheme, but decided they were simply too incompetent to pull that off. My Dad always wore Rockport shoes and really likes them, but neither he nor I will ever buy from them again!
Newer rockport products have a much lower quality standard than the old ones, which in the long run will mean you will have problems with them sooner than expected.
Gave one star because I could not give a negative one. I have been buying Rockports for a good 30 years, but will not even accept one again. At this moment, I have 6 pairs. The rubber sole, and the inner sole has cracked and broken apart on my dress shoes. . There is no wear on either the heel, or sole. RUN FROM ROCKPORT ! !
Severely lacking in many other areas. Pray you never have a payment problem because it takes so long to settle. They wear you out by testing your patience.
